My couple who got married in July picked up their album today. The bride's mother called me to share her feelings regarding the album. She commented how she cried since the album was so beautiful and she just had to call to thank me. Now that is why I do this!!! For me it extends way beyond the fact that I'm trying to provide good customer service. I want people to be moved by the images I capture for them. If I could do this for free (which I did when I was in the military), I would since people's reactions far out weigh any money that I am given. But I do have a family to feed & a mortgage to pay:)! Sigh, if only I could win the lottery:)!

Portrait Time!!
Last week I did portraits for 2 different families...the Robin's & the Calloway's.
The Robins were doing their full family portrait & we opted for an outdoor setting. Thankfully the rain stayed away but many of the areas were wet so note for next time..bring a towel!!! I had alot of fun with them and their doggies!
The Calloways opted for a studio session for their family. Of course the best plans can be thrown off....they arrived with their youngest sleeping and he would not wake up:)! So we improvised & adapted to the situation:)! Thankfully he did wake up later on in the session so we could get some pictures with him awake! Of course as children will do, he decided he wanted in on the pictures when we weren't expecting it as you can see below:)! I had alot of fun with the Calloways who I know actually from attending the Church At The Ridge. This session involved not only the posed shots but I was also able to capture some wonderful candid images.

Merry Christmas!
My favorite Christmas song for awhile now has been "My Grown Up Christmas List"...and exerpt:
"Well heaven only knows
That packages and bows
Can never heal
A hurting human soul
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts.
Everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end.
This is my grown up Christmas list"
